DUAL MONITOR prob:
CRT
GRAPHICS CARD: ati 9200 *blush* ... SE
MONITORS: DELL E771p 17" @ 1280*1024

hey, has anyone had the problem of having the tool tip pop-up in the other monitor when their not soppose to? Not just tool tips, but also other things such as a drop-down tool (like the sliders in Painter8). I work with the secondary monitor and usually leave the primary clear for any non-related apps.

any help would be heaps good.

my apps do the same thing and it's a known problem. (radeon 9700 pro, samsung 193p - primary, and viewsonic e790 - secondary) i dont think there's anyway to actually fix it besides doing most of your main work on your primary display. i'm not completely sure of what exactly causes this to occur as i haven't really looked into it too much, mostly because i dont think there's a way to fix it. i have a feeling it would require buying a different video card that fully supports dual simultaneous displays and all videocard features on both, whether they be deemed "primary" or "secondary" at any given time.
