Just go to the pull down menu at the top. Edit>Preferences...
Couldn't be any easier. Really.

As for the camera... There's also an option or two dealing with that in preferences as well. If you have a two or one button mouse, some things might not work until you properly set the camera mode for it. Then you may need to use certain keys on the keyboard to perform actions that would normally be done on the mouse if you had a three button one.

Not a whole lot of info to go by in your post...
Nothing about what steps taken to fix the problem,
nothing about Wings version,OS,video card, video driver version...
Anyways, you might be better off posting on the official wings development forum,
in the bug report thread anyways. That way Björn will know about it and might even fix it :)

Didn't know that. Sorry. I'm just trying to go with the most obvious answers first. (I've seen many a posting where somebody griped before exploring the program fully.)
Did you try fully removing and re-installing? Also what OS are you running?
It could be a problem with the Erlang part (I think Linux users have had probs before if they didn't get the right version or whatever when compiling. But that was a good while back.)
Who knows, maybe a permissions setting or something isn't set right (if running on a network.)
More info regarding the situation couldn't hurt. Also asking around on the official forum might be a better way to finding a fix for this problem or a future bugfix in a future release.

Did you try fully removing and re-installing? Also what OS are you running? no problem man.
I`m working on a p4 2gig running win xp with a g4 ti 4200.
anyways, you might be better off posting on the official wings development forum yeah, I did. I´m just trying to get the latest graphic driver.
i had a similar problem with the text on my wings3d windows and menus ...tha is until i disabled antialiasing (or rather set antialiasing to "application preference" as it is listed on my radeon 9700) on my display settings.

don´t get it, camera has its own life. someone else experienced this problem?
just can zoom with scrolling the wheel, but rotating/panning doesn´t work. I usually have 3dsmax mode on, but maya, mirai etc. doesn´t work either.
I have a logitech mx500, driver is old but there is no update available.
thx for any help

Just wondering. You do know that different camera modes use different keys, right?
For example, Maya's mode is Alt + LMB = Tumble, Alt + MMB = Pan, Alt + RMB = Zoom.
For Max i think it use's shift, alt and ctrl. And only the Middle mouse button.
Just checking. :)

for sure, that would be very supid eh? :)
I replied over at the official dev forum... i am having a similar problem regarding the MMB on one of my machines. I have done everything I can think of, including taking the rig in for service, switching mice, and reformating and doing a complete system reinstall. Another symptom I am having is that my System Properties Page appears at random, and my Start Menu opens on it's own... have you seen these symptoms as well?

I just replied in the official board ;) did you have the problem with older wings too?
I don't think it has anything to do with wings... it occurs in other apps... and occurred both after uninstalling wings3d and after reformat prior to reinstalling wings.
XP Pro... all updates
