Posted August 4th 9:00 EST

Welcome to the cgtalk sketch group.

We will try to post one of these topics once a day for your enjoyment.

These are the rules:
* Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
* 640 x 480 / 480 x 640 OR 800 x 600 /600 x 800
* They can be done on any medium.
* If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
* Only original compositions. No "tributes" o plagiarizing.
* The topics will be posted every day between 10:00 - 12:00 am US EST.
* The artist also has to post total length of time it took (Thanks Clanger for the idea) and program used.
* Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
* Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.
* The topics will be picked at random from the list on this thread
(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming.
*You can add multiple entries, but please dont post WIP (Unless you intend to update them). NEW RULE!
* Ill post ANOTHER thread to quantify and track WHO has participated the most on these threads.

Good luck

I need someone to kill my wireless mouse. Don't have the heart to do it myself. Can pay in cheese for service. Payment on job done.
Alternatively I just need some new batteries.

Edit: Ohhh I made it as nr one on my own topic suggestion? sweet.

Hmmm. . . Can Groo dip the mouse in the cheese? Groo loves a good fray, but fray with a mouse would be very unsatisfying. Cheese dip with mouse would be very satisfying. :D

I can't draw a cat's clutching paw very well as you can see. Do y'all have any tips? I use Illustrator. Thanks. :)

nilk -- Great pic!. You could always add a gray foot pad where the heel of his palm would be if he were human, but real cats don't have opposable thumbs so chances are they'd step on the mouse's tail or bat them unconscious :wip: . Love the "Puss in Boots" eye on the mouse!

Supervlieg -- Funny! Reminds me of that line from Star Wars:
"Yeah, but a droid won't rip your arm out of its socket if it loses." --Han Solo ;)

3db2 -- Cute, and nice composition.

Hey Rasdasa

When I look at your art I see some resemblances to Greg Capullaro ( I think I spelt his last name wrong) He's the guy that did the art for Spawn for a long time.

You art is as rough and sketchy as his is.
Intentional? or just your style?

don't have time to make it, perhaps someone with more talent than I will like a shot at the idea ... have a picture of a bunch of kids at Michael Jackson's "Wonderland" ranch amusement park, with Michael saying "ok, it's nap time" ... now that is definitely a "It's all fun and games until...."

i just caught this...
yeah that's my style alright, the ironic part is that I never really been into Spawn.
I guess it just sort of developed like that *shrug* But I have to admit that I too can see the resemblance, which is a good, because now that i've been exposed to it, I think his art is wHicked!
