Ok,

I just bought Messiah Animate 5 for use with LW, and though I haven't spent that much time in it yet, so far I am impressed, which leads me to wonder about Messiah Studio.

Does Studio have currently or are there future plans for fur/hair capabilities? I'm a Sasquatch fan...

No word on fur but Random Cloner should do the trick.

Meshpaint (http://www.evasion3d.com) may prove to be a useful compromise as well.
