Ok, im trying to use aura 2.5b, and hoping someone can help.

I want to take a picture thats larger than my project and move it
inside the project window, but it keeps tiling the image in stead of
showing the whole image.

You need to import your image as a brush. Go to file>import>brush. Then open the keyframe filter and animate to your hearts content. You can also do this with video or image sequences by file>import>anim brush.
