if anybody knows of any webpages or tutorials that could help me out with enviroment modeling and texturing, that would be very appriciated. Basically i dont how to go about laying out geometry for tiling and i dont know really about blending for tiling. I figure theres probably a few tips and tricks out there i can learn. How could i tile brick across a plane (2 polys) and yet put a single window or a door in the middle of it. should i just carve it out of the geometry?
thanks

One method you could use as far as putting a window or a door in your tiled brick wall, is by using seperate objects. That's how Creath told me to do some of my buildings. It doesn't add too much overhead and you have complete control as to where you want to place the window or door. Does this make sence? My brain isn't fully functioning as of yet.
