Hello there!
I was wondering if any of u can give me any tips, I'm trying to atach a coat to an animated character, i've already tried reactor's cloth and it's not bad but i had many troubles assigning a"repulsion" value to avoid interpenetrations with the collision object (deforming mesh) also i can't get a proper heaviness feeling in cloth and it's insanely slow at the moment of creating the simulation. I have also tried clothfx from digimation and is very much faster, but i have the same problem in the heaviness achieving and much more with mesh overstreching .:banghead: (misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=0#)

I attached half of the coat to a skin modifier (so it would be animated but unafected by the simulation) and the other half , the one that should be hanging to a cloth simulator, i need to understand how to control the overstreching, heaviness and collition bouncing

I'll appreciate any suggestion:sad:

Did you set the scale correctly for clothfx? You can upload your scene if you want me to evaluate your settings.

mmm, well i don't quite understand about the measures i have to set, i'm using the max generic, i read something about setting the scale, so i tried with centimeters diferent values and worked almost the same, so i quit trying, but i haven't give up, now i'm giving a chance to reactor, but is too slow.
Anyway is a good idea to send u the scene so you can check it out to see wath is goin on maybe u can send me your e mail to send the file

thx
