View Full Version : Converting Maya camera animation too max

I really need help with this, im wondering if theres anyway I could export or convert maya's camera animation or camera with animation too 3dmax. I need to do this becuase im more confortable doing camera tracking with Maya rather than max(infact ive never gotten it to work in max) What I essential want to do is track live action footage in maya and take the camera and export it to max. Any help would be gratelly appreciated.

the fbx plugin from kaydara....and okino's polytrans claim to do that...pls chk for further info..

I know a good animator had designed a script package for animation task between max and maya. To enhance his workflow. Search for a post on CGtalk or on Highend3d.com or even google at it.

If max can import .chan files.....then you definately need this mel script: Chandump by Daniel Kramer.
I use this all the time for getting maya camera info to houdini.
