Hey!
Well it looks similar to my first 3d creation.. :)
Some tips for you...
Check out some tutorials on modeling. Here are some links that might help you get headed in the right direction.

these are just a few.. there are tons of tutorials out there.
Best advice I can give ya is to keep practicing and don't get discouraged! Just take your time and keep going and you'll get there. Start out with some simple objects/designs and progress to more and more difficult stuff as your skills improve and you gain more confidence.

Ehm.. why do you post this in 2D artwork? It looks like 3D to me...
