can't hear audio during preview

can u hear the audio when u hit the "Del" key on your numpad?
also when u hold down "Ctrl" and drag your on your timeline?

Thank you thank you. It's working. But I was reading manual and could find why I can't hear sound when hitting play on time controls.

Go to Composition>Previews and make sure "Audio" has a check mark next to it. Thenuse the "zero" on your numeric keypad to preview your timeline.

hi guys,

when i put a sound into timeline, i want to hear when i played my movie via pressing space key or ram prew. but i dont hear sound except only audio preview (via pressing del button). (in comp. settings, audio is chacked)i did not preview sounds and others eachother. is this really a problem on after effects or am i an idiot a little? :)
i trying to tell say why i cant play(hear) sounds when seaing visual materials in timeline as playin timeline(like in premiere)

i want to prepare a clip and i use some of still images with effects and transitions
with off course an audio. but i could not achive to work in after effects. and i have to make this work in after effect.

as you can see, my english is really greate. sorry for this.
