View Full Version : Several poly objects in texture editor
perpen 07-29-2004, 04:10 PM Hi all,
is posible to select not one but several poly objects, and have all of their uv maps appear on the texture editor at the same time, so I can work on a uv map while having the others around...
Thanks for your time,

You can do a merge and after you tweaked your UV, then extract to seperate them again.

Thanks for the reply...using the process you wrote I would like to know if there is a easy way to speed up the process of extracting the objects once donde the uv work. I mean, should I do something before merging objects to avoid selecting all of its polys later when extracting?
Thanks again

Your best bet is to just use the polygon island selection filter. This is only available when you have an object made up of seperate meshes - like your merged object. Then Create->Polymesh->Extract (delete).
