View Full Version : Female Head - I Just Had to Do It!
Blums 07-28-2004, 07:05 AM Here is a female head I'm working on for my short film. Please ignore the ear...it looks funny I know. Please tell me what else is wrong with her. Comments and criticisms are welcome.

Hello Blums,
this is a very good Head, it looks like it's been modeled after a real person.
Upon closer inspection, three areas popped up as not as good as the overall quality of your model.
1) The lower lip is to round. If you follow the philtrum (the dent from the nose to the upper lip) to the lower lip, on both sides of the prolongued philtrum should be a small bump.
2) The upper eye lid seems to be a little bit small, and the edges of the lower and upper lids seem to be too round. There is an actual edge where the lashes grow out of the lids.
3) Im not quite sure on this one, it could be an effect of the pictures you provided, but the skull-region of the brows could be a little bit more prominent.
Keep up the good work,
Norbert

Hi Blums
You have a great start here
My crits are pretty similar as bobbesh said and I also think that the cheeks are too dug for me
you should round these up to have more a girly face and in generally soften her face...
But I think you should vertically raise your face to make more an oval...
But you have done a good job and your mesh is really clean so keep working and posting
I'm waiting for your update.....:)
