Does Softimage tend to run special pricing during Siggraph?
I'm debating whether to purchase XSI this week or wait until Siggraph and see if they have a special deal.

siggraph is just two weeks away so it cant hurt to wait if you can.

Go and talk with one of the demo guys at the booth, they will take you to the right person to discuss your needs and who knows, maybe will put a big smile on your face :)
