hi,
Ive got a fairly annoying, what the hell is going on kind of problem to solve. I have a comp that's only two minutes long, basically some text operators, fade in fade out, and some brightness contrast corrections but for some reason when the comp finishes rendering the results are choppier than the source. Im losing frames here and there, and overall its a lot choppier than it started. I was using uncompressed video (about 5 gig) as the source, but also tried with a smaller lower quality source (divx 3.11) and still had the same problem.
It sort of seems to me that maybe my hard drive is not fast enough and lagging in giving frames to the frameserver, but it doesn't explain the same problem with a lower quality source so I'm stumped.
Can anyone recommend any other lossless (or close to lossless format) to export to as a source, smaller than uncompressed?
