View Full Version : T-Rex Lazy Mans Animation Tutorial

Hey Guys

OK... Noob Alert!
I am working thru the manual trying to get up to speed in Messiah.
I am working on the first tutorial in the START HERE section.
I have loaded the Lazy Mans T Rex Animation.FXS and I set up the work area as instructed, but I seem to be running into a snag... When I middle click on the foot I bring up a control sphere with all the icons on the corners for manipulation... but it moves that whole model frontwards, backward, up or down, not the foot as it is supposed to. I am sure it is an easy setup thing that I am supposed to do, but I don't know where I am supposed to look to find whatever it is I am missing (I did go to the Start Here though).

Any help here would be apperciated.

That´s why it´s called Lazy...hehehe, u only move the feet and the entire character moves. If u dont want to use that setup, there´s another one in the same folder.

So, your saying this is the practical joke setup... Lets see how many noobs we can trip up with this one before they figure it out:thumbsup:
It's like the practical joke where you put a piece of paper on the floor with a message on both sides that says, "How to keep a moron busy, Turn over" Ok, ya got me:thumbsup: , hopefully I don't find too many more of them.

LOL, not at all, it´s a setup for "Lazy" Animators or animators that simply dont have the time to make it all :)
