the dark visual is nice, but, if you make de lights more obscured... think about.

That is an amazing picture. I totally love it. Don't change the lighting it gives it a somber mood. Awesome picture.

the lighting and environment is great, but the skin on the girl looks to be the skin of one of those maniquines that they use for clothing store displays.

Some tweaks to the skin would really give her some life. Otherwise, it is a great picture

Gorgeous! :applause:

I love the look and style of the image. The modling is great and so is the render. I might agree with some of the replys about the skin or pale, but it depends if the moodier atmosphere is what you're trying to accomplish. Cause if that's it...you hit it perfect. Great job again.

Actually I'm unconvinced about her being wet at all. In a rain fall that heavy there should be raing coming off the brim of her hat, beading on the skin and jacket, as well as any cloth being wet. To me she just looks shiney and not wet at all.

It is a good start though.

It's a great pic, but I agree with the above post, Other than that it looks awsome, you've nailed the dull drab rainy-day lighting to a tee, It's perfect.

i love it :) plus it being done on lightwave, i love it even more. in my opinion, the girls skin tone is extremely sexy as far the total image goes. dont mess with a thing ;)

Thank you for critics, you have give me some ideas.

The render takes about 74 hours on an athlon xp 1700+ (three days waiting :_D). I put lots of passes of antialias (enhanced antialias) to reduce the grain and the motion blur is dithered.

The image is whitish because I´ve put white fog to give the sensation of a rainy day.

The girl was deformed with bones you have a undeformed version of the girl here:

Thanks to all again!

yes the finger is not right

I think the length of the fingers is fine, it's just the proportion which make them look funny: It looks like the middle knuckle isn't bending at all, like she's only bending the last phalanx of each finger, which looks very weird indeed. I'd say check the position of your hand skeleton.

Can I say "phalanx" for a finger, or is it just the thumb?

I like the idea! But...

I think you should make the background more distant, so that more objects to fit.. I think you wanted to achieve the image of rain in a big city, no? Make streets, shops, people...
And attenuate the background a little, darker objects seems to be distant, you will have more volume..

Rain drops: Looks like snow. Looks like it's winter. Rain drops should be more transparent.

The raincoat should have some edges I think, some defects, it looks too artificial. Work with shader. Maybe some water drops on the raincoat? Wet hair? Water flowing down from the hat?

Fingers: Don't seems that she it toughing the umbrella. And the umbrella don't look like umbrella. The right hand look like a raker :)

Work much with gamma and lightning to make an rainy atmosphere.

Adn finaly... 74 hours is too much for this image. Probably you set set refraction with antialiasing to each rain drop :scream: :)

And again: I like the idea!

mm looks good

some pointers : when it is raining , you do not like to get wet, so you'll have your coat closed, atleast if you don't like your brest to get wet or anything

you could also add some shining raindrops on the coat

add some buttons too, so you are able to close the coat btw the hands look a bit plastic , and overal it looks a bit like a doll

i like the hair a lot tho :]

it looks good, but you are not really there yet :]

is that an umbrella or a knife, it looks really flat and lacks any highlight.
Beautifull scene though, has a great dreary mood.
Can you do multipass renders of individual objects to reduce the huge rerender times?
