This is probably my favorite topic thus far...

I've been telling this joke since I was in 7th grade - it's my favorite joke of all time... just because. :)

PS - 1hr

http://www.r3studios.com//yawn/intricatesketch_37.jpg

"There are 2 sausages in a frying pan. One turns to the other and says, "it's getting hot in here..." The other jumps back and screams, "HOLY SH*T! A TALKING SAUSAGE!!" The end.

I got really carried away with this one, even considered not posting it,
'cos it took too long for a sketch.

Might as well share it with you guys.

Inspired by the game Call of Duty.

5 hours  Painter, and it's still not perfect...

jeroentje: awesome painting!
Dargon: great lighting! I really can feel the heat...
Floriz: thanks! And I like your character so much too!
Goro: Yeah! she's hot! Nice painting as usual!
nilk narf: I think I dun hav to repeat....simple and nice!
Art2: Dun worry, practice make perfect...Yet it still a nice one!

iamintricate: thanks! Yea, it was painted in PS7 with a layer of noise. And I so much like your piece too! With great colors and funny sausages! And ofcoz, the story behind! :applause: I will remember it! I will. The only thing bother me is their chat box, I think they are not so match with the rest, i dunno, maybe like wat u did for the story? Thats great!

[edit]also thanks to xiangxiang and NancyJo for the supports!

cheers! :scream:

"EXCUSE ME!" Sigh... There's a complainer in every crowd.

Photshop 7/Wacom *about 2hrs

Too tired to figure out if this is any good or not...but had fun doing it. Little more relaxed than I'm used to.

Great stuff in the thread so far. Art2 love that style! Very linear without any lines. Goro and Iamintricate very cool as always, but very different. Demonstrating some nice range! And the microwave pics kill me! Nice work folks.

EDIT: Ya know, now that I look at it, my picture bears a resemblance to Stephen.S's "The Last Days of Pompeii." (http://www.stephanart.com/gallery/albums/Speedpaintings/82pompeii.jpg) Oh well... don't hurt me I didn't mean to! Heheh. Maybe I shoulda have tried to copy it, then maybe mine woulda turned out better. =p

Through considerable research over the years I have discovered that a song with lyrics along the same lines (it's getting hot in here) is a favorite among exotic dancers, so here is my pic.1.5 hrs PS.
