CGTalk - new model: dragoon

this is intended to be a VERY complicated model when im finished.

the modeling on this model i am making every effort i can possible to make it top notch and i hope what i have done so far reflects that. i would appreciate any comments as far as what looks off, what i could do better, etc. thank you for your time.

also any suggestions on texturing is GREATLY appreciated

Is this inspired from the PS game (I think it was called dragoon hearts or something like that)?
It's kind of hard to grasp what you're going for, if you're going for a realistic style, you've got a lot of work to do..
But in general, I've got a few crits;
If this is what the thigh and leg armor is going to look like, I would reconsider the whole design. The thigh armor looks like it would really hurt:eek: . He should probley have big boots, to make him look grounded and balanced. I'd also add some armor round the knee.
In general, the body should have much more definition. It's really early to crit anything yet, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling at least:) . If you have a reference or can draw a concept sketch, that would really help.
