Anybody using "Learning Maya | Character Rigging and Animation" from A/W? Is it worth it, or is there something that is better?

Also, does anyone know of some good videos or books that discuss Rendering/Lighting/Texturing, in Maya?

Thanks,

Vic

I bought the A|W Rigging book direct from the AliasWavefront website store and I live in Europe ( U.K ) so you should be okay, the shipping costs are really bad though ( and I mean really bad !!! ), on the plus side it was delivered really quick and it is a brilliant book. Explains things very well and shows you some pretty in depth rigging techniques, I was in your shoes a couple of months ago and took a deep breath and paid the cash for Maya Complete, the Learning Maya 4 book and the book we're discussing.I've been very happy with Maya so far and feel like I'm learning a lot, so I'd say go for it
