Well you should have gotten a whole whack of tutorials when you bought it. Even in the help section there is tutorial files.

The thing about 3D Cafe is that their tutorials aren't updated much, in fact, I believe that every tutorial in the max section deals with 3 and under, so you would be missing all the lovely new features that your 4.2 has to offer.
