View Full Version : multiple blendshapes for facial setup

Hmmm - I have applied 2 'sets' of blendshapes on the same head model and I'm having a problem as the first keyframed blendshapes (the mouth area) are interfering with the second set (eyes and brows)

The basic problem being that where the keys are set, they completely overide evrything I've already done - the phonetic breakdown of my track - so everything in the area of the eyes is boiling away!

I made sure that everyting was bound, weighted and generally setup first, before applying the blendshapes - yet I seem to remember that there are options for the 'order', priority or general multiple effect on the blends somewhere...

Can anyone help?

I guess I should apply all my blendshapes at once, not seperating them into head 'regions' and applying them seperately

ps - the only thing that might also be effecting it is that I have a bone in the lower jaw which lends a little more freedom to the mouth, since I can distort the mouthshapes... (this joint was added at the inital stage, so should be no problem)
