View Full Version : Render Log location on MACS?
Shayder 07-21-2004, 09:53 PM Does anyone know where the rederlog.txt file is located on a Mac system, I am using Maya 4.5?
I also noticed that it doesn't have the (I forget the name of the window that also pops up when you launch Maya and when you render) whatever that window is called. Is this normal on Macs?
Thanks

on MS windows platform this window that comes up when rendering is called the output window that shows the render diagnostics of each render. In mac it is called the Console Window. you can get it by going to Window/Console Window

oh you know what I overread the renderlog.txt Shayder was looking for. I thought it was just the frame render diagnostics. My bad, sorry for the bogus post.
cheers,

Thanks guys, still not used to Macs and all their quirkiness. I was wondering where the output window was since on PC's it always pops up when rendering a frame. Just curious.
Thanks for the help!
