CGTalk - Shader Problem

Hi,

I am a neebie to XSI so this is gonna be a stupid question but.....

I have followed Namomation's tutorial re shader writing and I can't see my Material.preset file. I know its in the folder but when I try and load it via materials->more it doesn't showup in the browser. Like I say it is definately in the folder. Please put me out of my misery. :-)

I'm not familiar with the tutorial, but an easy mistake is to save out the preset from an illumination node, rather than the material node.

If you can see it in a folder, just drag and drop it from there into a rendertree...

Hi guys I found my problem. It was due to the spdl file not being correct. Sorted now. Thanks. :-)
