Hi all,

Yes the subject of this thread is not explicit at all, but I do not really know how to say it in english :)

So here we go :

http://tartopoms.free.fr/divers/images/Zeppelin%20-%20WIP-%20Modelisation%20002%20-%20complet.jpg

I'd like to give a parameter to the pink objects on the pictures, telling them that they can not rotate more than 20° from their initial position (left on the picture).

By exemple, when I rotate the object in Max (4.2), I'd like to be blocked when I reach +20° or - 20° from the initial position.

Would anyone know how to do this, or give me information to find about that ?

Thanks to all by advance :)

toma.

i think those tricky manipulators and constraints might do the trick, look it up in the help menu

ok dude,
does this help...
1)change the controller for the rotation tracks of all the fins to euler xyz.
2) wire a slider manupilator to all the fins.
3)when you wire the slider value to the x rotation(for exhample) in the wire parameter dialogue put this on the left hand box
degToRad(X_Rotation) and connect.
this is assuming you have theslider value inthe left of the wire parameter box and the x rotation track expanded in the right of the dialogue box...i cant seam to upload a file since i made one for you.so until then try the steps out
