Hey all,

I am a second year Animation Student at Ravensbourne College based in the UK and have just finished my final term with this short. Most of the animation was created over a 3 1/2 week period leading up to our degree show in London. This is basically a fun little project to see what kind of random things i could do with a character in a short space of time, i have plans to create a short film in the near future, just thought id have a little fun before i get all deep and meaningful on your ass.

Anyways Enjoy!

Great!

Very funny and the music is so good with the animation. The caracter and the story are creative. I like the lighting, and the colors. The motion blur is really nice.

However i think the directing isn't perfect. Not bad, but isn't perfect.
Next all i can say is good, so i have given a 4 for you.

Creditable!

Nice work dude, the animation is very impressive given the short time frame. Snappy and visually interesting all the way through... Will look forward to any future projects, keep posting!

Cheers for the response guys

Mayer - yeah the directing is a lil off definitely, prolly due to me not whacking out an animatic to start with and just making it up as i went along but cool cool!

Mattmos - Cheers!, Werent you a Bournemouth Student?

lol yeah did the ma last year. So do you get the whole of next year to work on a short film project? If you do make the most of it, I'd love to be in that position again!

Mattmos - Well i dont think i will do my top-up BA year as i really am getting tired of education, ill see what work gets offered from the showreels ive sent out, get settled down and attempt to do my own film in-between work hours. Hard i know but ill give it a shot

indeed this one deserves a reply

nice animation, you got some good emotion changes in there aswell
i liked the music too

only thing i can say is the that the environment was so white that is was sometimes difficult to see what was going on

yeah that glow thing going on was the result of a mishmash of digital fusion corrections and effects, jus to dreamy it up a lil. I failed to check all the scenes hence it does pass on a little too bright for comfort.

Really nice and clean shortfilm!

It kinda resembles "Way To Go" Directed and animated by Samppa Kukkonen from my school, Turku Polytechic Arts Academy / Animation

Here's a link for you to watch it:

:) That would have been an interesting coincidence!

But in the history of the world, many great inventions have been made in many places at the same time, like the moving pictures.

I guess the ideas are just floating around in the air, and some of us can capture them!

I loved your storytelling, some great pacing in there!

The thing I like most about your animation was the composition of the camera, you captured the awesomly animated character very well with the surrounding enviornment. MAN I HAVE WORK TO DO
