Can I run Maya6 without the interface on a Mac?
I can't find any info on Alias site about it.

I know that Maya5 on Win, Linux and Irix has the commandline command "mayabach -prompt", but it does not work on a Mac.

I've never seen that command on any OS. There is

maya -batch -prompt

Perhaps that's what you're thinking of?

In any case, Maya 6 is being delivered on the Mac in the Mach-O binary format, which allows it to use all the same command line arguments and have access to the same environment variables as on Linux. Maya 5 was delivered as a CFM binary, which did not have these capabilities.
