Bush was recently rated the second most hated guy in the world among the youngers (the first one was Hittler) i think its a bit exagerated but still lets not turn this sketches into political arguments.. this is supposed to be fun :)

ElysiumGX

no political arguement please. I only had an hour on my lunch. It's the only idea that popped into my head.:bounce:

I wanted to see if I could do a robot like Goro makes em, wannabee-Goro style ;)
The Idea is that the engineer has 'some' work to do, repair a whole army of robots..
Those topic titels are great, it leaves a lot open for ur own imagination.. Thanx for the fun!

J_Grieve: Wow! what a mischievous expression! (I think she misheard the topic and DISassembled that rodent... or maybe she's gonna reassemble it with a pigeon head :P )
DanubaKa: Yours is nice too! Quite abstract...

Sorry to post this here, but it's so freak!:

Check this (chinese?) forum:

http://www.cgforweb.com/dispbbs.asp?boardID=5&ID=382&page=1 (http://www.cgforweb.com/dispbbs.asp?boardID=5&ID=382&page=1)

and take a good look to their award! I saw some sketches from the daily sketch people floating around there in some banners. Maybe somebody who can read chinese could crawl inside and see what it is about?

Salut!

Sir Patroclo

edit: maybe that's a good theme for a sketch, "bizarro Cg-Talk Daily Sketch" or "bizarro self-portraits" of how our equivalents of the chinese version would look like... :surprised ... I apologize again to the mods and fellow sketchers for posting this here, but couldn't think of a better place than the current sketch...

Ehehe. The first thing that popped into my mind when i read this topic was A confused robot holding up two wires and looking at his arm on a desk with instructions. But DePingus pretty much summed it up for me :P

Mine's not worthy to hang with your guys but here it is anyway :o

1 1/2 hours in photoshop

@J_grieve sickening, lol the first time i saw that i was like wow o_O poor thing :p eyes could use a starker expression, relaly make her menacing ;) your second one is even better :D
@made in uterus: haha thats me :P nice
@Downspiral: wow thats awesome, espicially with a trackball, how its all spread out reminds me of how i am when I'm looking at instructions and stuff all sprawled out and the look of confusion and anger in me ;)
@Supervileg: why do you paint so good :O
@Drumwhore: awesome ;) that was my second idea :| But you did a damn good job of it hehe
@3db2: interesting style ;) confused on persepctive but i like.

Yeah but bush is the easiest because it's pretty much common knowledge that he is a moron...

Sir Patroclo

Oh yeah i can read chinese, and i'd just visited the page.

They are really like a chinese version of cgtalk, based in china, from a guy name Elky Xu. I think they are new coz not really many ppl inside, even the post.

Ok, bout the awards, there are 2 kind.
first they will have the members to vote for the 3 best piece of the month, and the winners will get their points (ya, they have points collection), and a recognition for 1 month.
second award (the cups) is actually like our cgchoice award. There are 2, gold and silver. And the judgement is from the forum themself. The 3 'winners of th month' might get it; or might not. Then, the CFW choice winners will be upgraded from a public members to another level(not sure wat is that)...

I think basically is like that! cheers~

[edit] Oh ya, and there's a weird stuff, when u scroll from the picture, the size can actually scale bigger or smaller!

Thanks NJ! :) I just realized how many folks did robots. I thought mine was the only robot. I'm glad my mind thinks like a lot of folks here.

Thanks Dck! :) That's very kind. I seem to have more control in Illustrator than in PS. But PS is good for enhancing.
