man you tap dance right down the tightwire between sensual and menacing with such ease, you make me sick (j/k) I am becoming a bg fan. Not really a crit but more of a q, did you go with a different set of texture maps for the eyes, they seem different, a lot more reflection and an awfully strong termination line between the lower lid and eye, guess it could be the lighting. still rocketh muchly:buttrock:

Simhl(the Goddess of Shrooms) thrives on adoration...
her every step and maneuver is intuitively calculated to
persuade her congregations' eyes never to leave her.

but then again, maybe there exist aspects of the fungal
world that our AP Biology teachers never taught us...

in the cave, she gives birth through her head.
the cranium splits (no idea how to animate that one!)
and her 2 children flutter out.

did you go with a different set of texture maps for the eyes
ya! just a wee change. i added some darker colors near the
meeting of the lower eyelid and the eyeball. different reflection values eminate from the different light sources used.

this is quite possibly the most immediate and positive feedback i've been plastered with on CGTalk.

On a side note, the projected deadline for the animation points to the beginning of September.

Simhl's face was modeled in Blender, while her body
is a combination of Blender and Lightwave.

all of the character setup, rigging, lighting, UVMapping, and rendering was executed in Blender.

the Shroom Adorer was modeled almost entirely in Blender;
the ribs were quadsewn in Lightwave.
