This is a realistic image of my logo [(c)2004], produced with Cinema 4D 8.5 with one HDRI environment. It's a simply model with a few settings, so that the DOF (Depth Of Field) is a way for made a best illusion of reality.

i don't like it. i think it's cheesy for what it is. enough companies and people have a spiral chrome logo. not to mention that the chrome hdri thing has been done to death.
it's too complex for a logo anyway. where are you going to put this? on a letter head? on a watermark?

That's an awesome logo! What will it be used for? An intro for something like those companies show their logos on films they've produced? What is the logo supposed to signify?
I like the chrome because it is not perfect, there are imprefections in it that make it look like its more of a realistic object.
It looks great!
Cheers! :D

Hm the logo is a little bit to "difficult". If u saw a logo it hast to make *click*.Think on Audi: OOOO (ok not perfekt hehe) or Apple or CocaCola.
I hope u understand what I mean.

I have to agree with wgeddes. A logo cant just be cool shapes or nicely rendered objects - they need to work under a variety of conditions - 2d, 3d, big, small, full colour, 2 colour, black and white, etc. and after all that, still be recognised as your logo. So while you have some nicely rendered images there, it needs work to become a logo.
