hi

im tring to make an underwater plant..as in the picture but the problem is when i make lots with bumbs... the ssceene gets really heavy...is there a simple way to do these purple bastards?

this is a scene from "finding nemo"

how should i model them?

I don't know what program your using but in Maya you can create Instances, Edit-->Duplicate-->Option Box "Instance", you'll still be able to manipulate the instances, only there shape info comes from the original.
