I heard you could do this with some kind of advanced lighting material? I havent seen Max5 yet, but I would think if it using standard GI sort of stuff, you could just make an object self illuminating & it will emit light (perhaps with an output map in the self illum slot to beef it up)

So have you already received your copy of Max5?

Second my copy is a beta version L058 exactly

I'd want to get self illumination material or geometry with radiosity engine of max5 not with light tracer (MAX5 GI ENGINE)

If you have a beta copy of max5, that means you were on the beta tem, right? Then you should already know how to do this stuff, wouldn't you?

We ran a beta copy of plasma and combustion2 that discreet sent us and none of us has a clue how to use them. I work for a school.
