Hey eVery one again!

Is there a way to render a animation and exporting as a quicktime movie (.mov)???

Or do i need to export the animation as a image sequence and then use AFTERFX to compose it and finally exporting it as a movie file?
There`s maybe a plugin of dome kind that enables maya to export quicktime within` itself?

Thankx

i only kno a plug to playblast out to a mov. but rendering (as far as i know) doesn't exist. no reason why for this IMO.

as far as I know maya can only render as uncompressed avi or image sequence.......so you have to use AE

or you can render as images sequence (i usualy render as .tga) and if you have QT Pro just import the images :) (File -> Open Image Sequence ...)

Unless you are using a Mac, in which case QT is supported directly by Maya. Hopefully, they added this to the WIN version in 4.5 and have so far neglected to mention it.
