you would need an external renderer like BMRT, Entropy and stuff like that.. they are all pretty techy and commandline as I understand..
also a RIB exporter from max.
and probably programming skills for writing custom shaders would be nice too.
It's pretty much big studio hi-end stuff... but it sould be possible.
