you may want to turn off specular on some of your lights. because i still can see your vase has a couple of specular highlights that doesn't seem right.

but anyways, this is a fantastic lighting . Can i see your scene in wire frame? I want to learn from you...

100 lights !!! It isn't enough :p !!
I give you some more to put in your scene ::lightbulb :lightbulb :lightbulb :lightbulb !!
And what about the render time ? Did you use many exclude/include technics ?

Unrealistic lightning. You should remove too bright areas.. Shadows must be darker in the corners.

Success!

i use 160 lights,it's more than 100 lights.but i didn't use the exclude/include,just use the far attenuation.my render time is about 10 min.

no plugin at all.the radiosity lights are simulated by the default lights.

thanks for all your comments.

Very good! Lighting indoor scenes with scanline renderer is very hard!

A few things:

The shadow under the table seems to be going in the wrong direction, like the light is coming from the right instead of the window. I see a small spotlight coming from that direction in your lighting setup, maybe that one shouldn't cast shadows.

I see you have made area light using arrays of spotlights. I think you should tweak it a bit more, so that the softshadows are a bit more pronunced (for example near the window on the floor, the shadow should be a bit harder at the start).

Anton Andries is right about the missing shadows in the corners. I think a skydome setup could solve that problem quite easily (with shadow only lights and with the outer walls excluded).

The reflection on the table should be a brighter I think. Since the window is completely blown out (white), the relfection of that light would make the table much lighter.

Maybe you should change the color of the floor, it would give you a bit more sense of depth in the image. It's all very beige now.

Once again, great work, and very good lighting with the scanline renderer!

Yes I agree with Marcel's tip :the shadow below the table isn't in the good direction. Furthermore it doesn't strike at first sight. Luck ?
