hey, these are really nice. the only thing that seems missing is there doesn't seem to be a bottom on the car in the reflections. i woulda opted for a non reflective floor to hide that. other then that great job, classic vettes rule :)

""I have finally finshed my first attempt at modelling cars.""
You were that guy in school that got your test back with a HUGE A+ on it and turned around and said" Gee, I didn't think I would ace it."
You pissed me off then and you piss me off now, GREAT JOB, playa.
thanx for the comments.
It is modelled in Maya using nurbs, it is my first time using Maya or Nurbs, and rendered in Max as I am a little more familiar with Max.
Stecki, your 350z is fantastic! You are correct, I haven't done the chassis, engine etc. Nice to know people look so closely at your work.
I am a full time web and multi designer, but I am so sick of dreamweaver and Flash, I would rather be modelling and as web design is getting so cut throat I had a bit of spare time waiting for clients to make up their minds I took the opportunity to start to learn modelling.
I am thinking of selling the my models through turbosquid, but I don't know if there is any market for high poly models (Max) or large nurbs files (Maya).
I want to do a detail kit to go with it, engine (4 cross over carbis), chassis, suspension etc etc

Here's a Crit...
The steering wheels stick above the dash a few inches. And they are bigger. Nice work all and all
Hi again
I have done a little website for these models with better images here

Stever, you were correct about the wheel and it is now fixed.
