Well, finally made some thoughts and concepts. Actually this uniform is some mixture of existing medival knight uniforms. Hopefully, I'll start up with the model after 20 on August due to vacation till then!!!:)
Anyway, here are some sketches and thoughts.....I would appreciate any feedback (Actually one question that is bothering me alot is: "Does this character feels good?Does he feel like a strong character?") :) Thanks in advance....
i would only advise on putting a helmet on if you plan on making it hinged and folded up during presentation. Else there won't be much to show for in terms of your animal.

he's right, it might just look like a guy with a funny shaped helmet.

Thanks for your advice....I had that in mind. I was actually thinking of him holding the helmet rather than wearing it....But Lion's head fits only to some funny-shaped helmet!!:)
Do you think is a good idea to give him a more exaggerated lion-chest and shoulders?

nice concept, reminds me king Richard, try to give more details something like skurrs, crusaders had rought times bro and thats for sure.

Looks very. very good, i like your work, hope to see him that good also in 3d. And my answer to your question: "Does this character feels good?Does he feel like a strong character?" is definitely yes, but i think you should make his face a little bit more expressive like angry or proud or whatever, try to strenghten his character that he alredy has, other than that looks really great, keep rocking :buttrock:

Hallo all, thanks for your comments and suggestions :). I'm back and I want to give it a shot with this one...... Anyway, I modelled the feet and the head and I rest them to your c&c, thought of the skurrs and staff on the face and maybe I'll model them if the poly budget allows it at the end, else they surely be on the texture! Here some images
I've modelled mouth and front teeth too, the total tris count is about 780.
The foot too...with a budget of 390 tris.
Hopefully back soon with updates.:thumbsup:

this is strange, game models are usually from one object, and one object weapon.

Hello, here I am again with almost modelling completed. This Lion stands at 2885 tris with the rest left for some details on the mouth and accesories (sword,bulk and maybe a helmet).
And a wire view
C&C are always welcomed!!:)
