well alot people are angry with my work, cos apparantly my sketches are too good :shrug:, any ways, here's a beggining of a self portrait I've done dismorning, about 1.2 hours so far. I now need to be adding some detail I think.

C&C would be really welcome, also some complements would be kewl, I feel really down after the slagging I got on the sketch forum :sad:. But let us put that aside. C&C please

edit : so as not to piss anyone of, I used an image for reference, aswell as a mirror beside my computer. Oh, and my hair doesn't really look like that :), tho I like it, and as I'm the one painting it...

hey, nice start! :) I think your got the values right. Don't forget to sharpen the face a bit more while working on the details, it looks a bit blurry for the moment.
Also it looks like the top back of your head is missing :) adding a bit more hair will fix this.
Waiting to see more ;)

It's pretty interesting. If you cleaned this up, it might work better. :)
