Hey that guys looks a little bit like me!
But for real now. Its a good start. It looks sharp (good). I like rendering around the eyes but i think the ear and the surounding area need some work, its a bit too far to the right of the pic. But its looking good.

Here is an update.
I do not know if I will be able to fix that head error, I just don't think I will be able to repositoin that much of the head. But I will for certine remember that thought when doing any more drawings. so thank you much. I am still in need of more critiques though.

Thats cool, you dont need to fix the ear, its ok as it is. Its good that you will take that in mind on your next drawings; practice makes perfect.
Really nice job on the cloth. Really.
Proportions are ok, but design wise the hand and lightsaber are too small and too far off the main focus of the drawing. Scince you still got time and you have not painted that area i suggest you pull it to the center a bit more or take it off. Really the lightsaber is not that necesary, the man trully looks like a jedi as is. But remember it is only a suggestion.

LOL, thanks for the complemets, I really appreciate it. But don't you worry about the light saber, this (just as my first post of my Jedi WIP) is only a crop of my full picture, I have a FULL body drawing of this guy. LOL, the lightsaber is fully visable in the full picture. And despite what the drawing looks like, the Lightsaber will look really cool when colored. Thanks again for your comments, they help me alot, like you said, practice makes perfect.:)

What pops into my mind is the flat color for the skin. The guys head is looking very mannequin-ish. It may be a case of personal preference, but I would add some subtle colors into the face. A way that could work while keeping it simple would be to have some of the light saber's light reflected onto some of his face. This could also add some nice atmosphere.
cheers~

You know after I posted that I was thinking that maybe you did crop the image and the light saber had a bigger part in the drawing. If that is the case, cool. :)
Oh yeah I would like to see the full pic too.

Hey, you´re up to a good start!
I find his left eye to be a bit off. It should bealigned to his right a bit more. I took the liberty to mess up your picture.... I hope you don´t mind:wavey:

I'm sorry, I really don't have anything much of an update, which is odd because I have spent many hours on this today. But dothing this without a WaCom Tablet and only using a mouse is VERY hard and SLOW. LOL, anyone want to donate a good Tablet? LOL. Anyway, it doesn't look like much, but this update took my a long time to get done.
Ps. How do I post images from other URLs? I mean, what is the brakets that must go around the URL in order for it to be seen as an image and not just a link.
Thanks.
