View Full Version : render and fps not matching up
kassun 07-14-2004, 09:01 PM I animated to a 10sec audio clip from the (10 second club). When I animated, I animated at 30 fps, all my playblasts are perfect audio ect.. is in sync. I went ahead and rendered out to tiff's and brought them into after effects along with the audio clip and have the fps set to 30 but when I render out a movie the audio is way off and nothing matches up. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kassun

Is the sequence-layer and the sound-layer exactly the same lenght in your timeline ? No ?
Try this:
Select the sequence in your project window, RMB --> Interpret footage.
What does your fps say ? 30 ? 24 ? 25 ?
I had also that problems with sequences. If you load a movie, AFX will read out the fps from the file-header. Thatīs not possible with image-sequences, so AFX will take a standard-preset.
What format does your sound have ? MP3 ?
Never use MP3 for video or compositing, take Wav (something uncompressed)
