This will be my first contribution to the forum. I created this in Photoshop, playing Frankenstien with several tutorials I found online. Most of the effects or done with filters, the wiring detail and highlights I did by hand. I must confess, the rose head part is from a photo I took of a white rose. It was a project for an introductory level Graphics course. I would appreciate anything you might have to say that might help me improve.

- The lighting is great! I like that specular at the right side of the rose!
- The rose colour is a bit too heavy...
- The lightstreams in the top are a bit to weird; you should choose whether to make them more bright, or make them more opaque...
- The stuff thats around the underpart of the rose should be looking more 'dynamic'. I mean; more rotaded, and more tinny...

I hope I helped you,

My Thanks Dutchman. I guess the light stream does seem a bit out of place. The whole things is a little flat and it would look better if the light seemed to spread back as well as across I think.
