I am haveing a good deal of troubling trying to build a working iris. I have an arry of triangles and I want all of them to rotate in unison. I tried wiring but MAX keeps crashing... prolly cause I don't know what I am doing. Is there a simple script I could write? or a simple means of instancing wiring paramaters when I array.

Thanks!

think I found a solution..

wire each triangels rotation to the rotation of the triangle next to it.. all the way around.. that seems to work.

too bad the multiwiring is crappy.. well well..
disreet will never learns..

guess we are not talking organic iris here.. I've got fair solution to such one as well..

change one of the blades rotation control to an orient constraint and choose another blade as an orientation target. make sure you have 'keep initial offset' checked. now just copy and paste that controller onto all the other blades in the track view.
