View Full Version : Morph alternative HELP/
Changeling 07-13-2004, 06:46 AM imagine two cylinders, parallel to each other, moving closer together until the touch, they then fuse, the dividing wall breaks apart to form a single tube.
morph won't do that (will it) as the way the veterces will connect to each other will change...
how could this be done?
any ideas would be welcome.

One way... make a Cylinder, add a Symmetry modifier, animate its Sub-Object moving towards the center of the Cylinder.
To get the melting effect would take a bit more work, but could be done with Volume Select's soft selection, and the Relax modifier.
