i'm getting a msg from the script editor on the bottom right corner from Maya saying:

"Panel Size Cannot Accomodate All Requested Heads Up Display Elements"

My vid card wasn't working earlier..but then i used a different older driver..then it worked...now i get this....ARGGGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe try and delete maya pref file (but you'll lose your prefs of course) sounds like maya thinks it wants to be larger than your screen size?

I get that error all the time with my fx5700ultra. Basically, it means nothing. All the HUD elements display fine, and Maya is no more buggy than usual. If if tears you up, you can try to hunt down the problem, but if you can deal with an erronious error message, then just let it slide.
