funnydoodle 07-28-2002, 08:55 AM i've just modelled a Raven and i have no idea how am i going to apply the feathers on it. especially the wings and tail. can anyone tell me any ideas or tips on how to do it? i want it to look realistic though. thanx!

I too need to featherize :) a bird, I am thinking of doing it with shag hair(probebly wont look too realistic).
"J.C.: I built them out of geometry, one feather at a time. Wee this was tedious… Actually I really only built five or six different feathers then I mixed them all around. A bird's wings and tail tend to follow a pretty defined pattern so I was able to use a row of the same type of feather."
