ya the vent is small but it's very good looking ;)
keep it up!
nicely modeled especialy the tail lights where most ppl have trouble
but i think u need more agressive AA
maybe use 3subdiv instead of 2

i bet it's manufacture was cheaper then a real one, what's the list price on that anyway...
seriously, real nice work :buttrock:

Fantastic, I wish i could do stuff like this.
And yellow is my fav colour...

excellent work... the majority of it looks great so i'll focus on the one thing that jumps out and says "fake" to me:
the mirrors. i don't know what shape side mirrors the gallardo has, but yours scream "i'm made of polygons!" to me...
i also think you could fiddle with your paint texture, i think auto paint generally gives a sharper reflection than your texture presently does. cars tend to "flip" from dark to light very quickly, where at the moment it sorta fades from one to the other.
still, you've done a far better job than i could ever manage! well done...

Thanks a lot for the crits guys.
Come to think about it the side mirrors are a bit wrong. Yet another thing on my 'gotta fix' list (along with the vent thing). I agree with the sharp reflections and I blame it all on the HDRI map.;)
Anyways, here are some open-door renders.

Nice Modelling and texturing but I think some parts are lit to brightly and it makes it seems like overexposure is some spots making it lose quite some details... but still a nice piece of work nonetheless...

An interior shot.

I really like it :) Nice to see that someone actually cares about his interior and dares to post a render ;) Great work. How long did it take?
Hm btw.. whats the red thing at the rear doing? .. next to the tyre? Couldn't find it on the refs

it feel good...!!!
i think the lighting can be improve....maybe you can try to put in front of a real photo....perhaps it will looks better..??

You mean those rear side indicators? It's there on most of my reference photos, so I thought I would play safe and model it. Here's (http://www.nelsonautogroup.com/04%20lamborghini%20gallardo%20orange%20side.jpg) one with it. I guess there are different versions of it, I remember seeing one with a window above the engine compartment instead of vents.
I think it took about 2-3 weeks from start to finish, working on about 80% of those days.
Yeah I might do a composition. I've never done one before so it'll be a bit of a challenge.
