neat design, just a couple of things that you could improve on, the side view of the skull shows it comes down to far, it should end where the neck meets the skull, look at a real skeleton to see what i mean, atm, you robot is going to look up and find he gets stuck on his neck.
also the hydraulics that connect the chest to the hips start too far up imo, they connect to the bottom of the 'ribcage'.

thnx both :)

the hands are fixed, the pelvis was a bit to low too.

the skull is fixed, i just got some huuge pictures of the skull from all directions and saw my error :)

i'll have a look at the hydraulics.

thnx!

arms look to short, hands look to small. Overall looks pretty cool though, keep at it.

buying toys of things you are building in 3d is the best way to get it right.
Its right there and its right in front of you,you can touch it and rotate it how you like.
I Completely agree ,buy a toy of it. It will be well worth it.

as reference for the head/arms and legs i used the toy from spawn.com ;)
chest is basicly a mixture from different pics of the skeleton :\

started a bit on the eviromnent, nothing final yet

hey...i like that!:)

but Frankly...i think they have put you in a spot.(Unless the concept has something to do with it)

that terminator design is just too old.
one design i ve seen it in action is by http://www.ronimation.com
thats one cool robotic design that thay have animated.
maybe its a bit funny conceptually but i think the nuts and bolts are there where they ought to be!:)
i feel that a robot wont be so humonoid especially in the future where they need to be extra resourceful. Imagine that a robot would still need a ladder just to climb up on your roof and change a tile.I think theres something fundamentally wrong with that concept.but anyways thats just me.
i mean after watching A.I and Bicentennial Man (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0182789/) it still bugged me that u d have very limited
capacity on a single robot to get real simple things done.and i dont feel thats happening...
although they were movies and so is T2....
i think you can dig into some robotic research illustrations..
http://www.robotwars.com/
(they are amazing designs)
well...i sincerly hope that my 2 cents helped and did not complicate your project.

otherwise i think your effort is admirable (assuming they didnot provide you any sketches along with it):)
good luck and show us your progress....

thnx muttboy :)
And they didn't send me any reference :\ they gave me their idea and wished me luck sort of speak ;) . It's not a real problem since you can basicly create your own terminator ;)

redid the lighting for the 10th time or something like that :\ and i'm kinda pleased with this one. Nothing final yet, still needs some serious tweaking.
