nice design and presentation.

i might consider breaking up the engine parts with some different colors - maybe some chrome. right now there is a lot of detail being lot in the all black color scheme. i might also consider breaking up the yellow abit - it is a bit flat and boring. perhaps some different shades of yellow on different areas or a few areas of contrasting color to help break up the shape a bit.

again, nice work

Thank you for your comment moonsafari, you`re right with the black engine elements, I shoud add some parts with other colors, maybe some chromed "rings" on the tubes...
For the yellow parts I think they give to all the body a good dynamic. But maybe an apply of some graphic symbols like on the race or custom motorcycles can add some details on this "boring surface" :curious:

Lol, at first I thought it was a WIP bike with no wheels.....but it a bmw hovermotorcycle? sweet. Concept is great and nice materials, but moonsafari is right about the two flat colors. Is that a jet out the back?

Holy crap, I love this concept. I think this is probly the best 'hoverbike' type concept I've seen. I really like the yellow color scheme, and I think it works very well with the vehicle. I guess some chrome and stuff would make the engine area more interesting. I really like the design, especially the front area, seat area, and I think the engine design is cool as well. Very nice.

Very cool design, and rendering too!!

The material look more (plasitcal) though, more than a fiberglass, which is giving it a toy look.. But this is only how I see it :)

I like the idea and I if I see the result as a first rough sketch I also like it... but I could not accept this as a final, sorry.

The overall look is nice, the airintake is cool -> looks like a wide open shark mouth  but the cladding looks a way to undefined.. like a big blob, no contours that you can follow. And such a bike wouldn't be build with only two pieces for the outer hull. So the overall hull doesn't look as it has a straight design philosophy.
I also wouldn't install handlebars that could have been taken from an actual model from the 2004 series on an hovercraft motorbike.
It also seems that you do not have a place for a pillion rider, if this is so why do you have such a long rear?

any way keep working on it, stay with your main idea but redefine it at some parts and think about straigher design philosophy and functionalities.

bye Crea

Oh damn, now this is cool.

As far as the design goes, I wouldn't really change one thing about it.
Also, I think your fiberglass shader looks pretty nice. I definitely agree about adding some different materials and chrome to the engine. It also would be cool to add some orange graphics or something on top of the fiberglass as some mentioned earlier to break up the surface a bit. You know, like how racing bikes have all those stripes and stuff. The thing that sucks is that now you've gotta UV map it ;).

Cool idea, I want a high res render to put on my wall

Thank you verry much for all those great comments.

First I`m adding a "behind the scenes" pic. ;)

In second some comments...

"TheArrow" sorry no wheels ;) and yes it`s a jet, thers also two small "thrusts" on the front down close to the BMW logo.

"Dead_Last" Thank you, I`v not seen a lot of hoverbikes here so thats easy when the concurrence is low.

"Dmon" Thanks, I like my fiberglass material, maybe some painted symbols on it will looks good but that means that I have the UV`s to do... :argh:

"Creative" Wow thats coments form an engeneer lol... but thats verry good comments anyway and I will follow some of them if I make some changes to the model. For the long rear I think it`s just cool and a second rider can be added later or a plasma canon for the military version ;)

"woadiestyol" Thx, yes the engine need changes, I will add many elements with other colours and materials (mat cables, red inscriptions etc) which will make it more "readable" and interesting. And if you want a poster I can place that on Zazzle.com :D

Anyway I think I will go to the WIP section for more posts about this speeder... that will be interesting to work much more on this concept... but that will be in August, now I`will get 3 weeks off from monday :D

One of the coolest things I've seen in a long time, but try to make your presentation more realistic. The way it is now leaves no doubt that it's CG.

Thank you...

"Franz" yes I think thats boring to work on another creature of fur or steel :D where only verry impressive modelling and brilliant concept can play a rule like the work of FaustoDeMartini for example.

"Turboff" Thx and yes I have to work on it much more...
