CGTalk - motion blur

hello im new ere so hi :)

i got a partical emiter to emit my name goin down the screen ok that was ok to do now i wanna make it blurr as it goes down tryed in rendring add motion blurr the 2d and 3d one no joy so can any1 help me :scream:

you rendering in maya software or mental ray ?

mental ray will motion blur particles
