Hi, this is my first post here I've been lurking for some time and think this is a great community.

I've been reading lots of threads about Wacom tablets and drooling over the quality of everyone's work using said devices. I've been dying to get my hands on one, and I have, however it's not a Wacom. (Awaits the boos)

I've recently odered from Ebay a Graphics Tablet called: Nisis EasyPen. It was lovely and cheap and looked great. My question really is does anyone have any experience with these tablets and if so if they are any good. I haven't managed to install and use it yet but I'm dying to try it out. After checking reviews and information on the web it certainly seemed a good buy for the price. But all the threads stating how great Wacom are have made me nervous was it a good buy? (Ģ40)

Cheers in advance,

I don't know. Wacom is the brand with the best-known name. That doesn't make it nescessairily (maybe something's wrongly spelled here, LOL) the best product however. Plug it in and let us know...

It certainly seems to work fine, at the moment I'm finding it difficult to draw as well as I do with pencil and paper but hopefully I'll get there.

Here's a very simple image I quickly drew to test it.
If anyone knows of some great sites teaching you how to draw with a tablet please point me in that direction. :)

Another quick picture, trying to practice drawing circles with this thing :)

Ivars: Yes it is, I didn't really show that in my first image. But yes it does everything the Wacom tablets do. The only difference I can tell is that the pen requires a battery where as Wacom one's don't appear to.
