I started this character sometime in 2002 and more or less finished him in November 2003. He was worked between jobs which wasn't too often. He's also been tweaked every now and then since.

This character is based off those scary, but very interesting looking, demons from hell in the Hellraiser movie series, as well as the Tortured Souls line of figures from McFarlane Toys. The overall appearance is mainly based off the Venal Antomica Tortured Soul figurine, though has a lot of my own stuff thrown in.

Modelled, textured, rigged, and lit in MAX, rendered with Mental Ray.

That film made me feel sick, and your model has brought it all back again!

Nice work, I especially like the tear in his stomach. Out of curiosity, how did he die?

As requested, here's a wireframe (dense, I know, but hey it was FUN! ;) )

dmonkey: I've not thought about how he got to be where he is thesedays (ha!) but I guess one could call him the fisherman. Otherwise he's just meant to look nifty with what he's got.
